Ted has been broadcasting, reporting and writing on all matters fishing for more than forty years and is a past England International competing in world championships, winning a bronze team medal.

He was also a successful manager and coach of the Home Boat squad for six years, the teams winning 5 gold and one silver medal, he is also a well travelled angler fishing many of the worlds hot spots.
