Ben has been working in radio since 2003. Even though he was born in Manchester he has lived in Torbay since he was 5 so definitely calls himself a Devon boy.

Having lived in Brixham for most of his life and after touring the country working as an entertainer for the likes of Butlins and Pontins,  Ben now lives in Paignton with his wife Laura and children George and Daisy. 

Ben's interests include running, playing squash, singing, acting and following the Exeter Chiefs rugby team. He also loves a game of cricket in the summer.

At Christmas you will also find Ben treading the boards at the Princess Theatre. He has starred in the panto there since 2008 where he has acted alongside the likes of Michael Starke, Britt Ekland, Anne Charleston and Mark Griffin (Trojan from Gladiators!) In 2011 Ben had his biggest part to date starring in Snow White as Sarah Spoilit alongside Lisa Riley and Simon Grant to rave reviews.

In recent times Ben has also gained notoriety by becoming one  of the best conker players in the world and also by having his breakfast show voted as the best in the south West by merrykova.co.uk
