Fortcoming fixtures

Sunday May 8th - v Brixham CC Over 35's (2pm Brixham Cricket Club)  - The game ended in a tie although some parties say that Brixham CC won by 3 wickets....we'll call it a tie - Ben topped scored for Palm with 33 before being run out by his dad! BRIXHAM WON BY 3 WICKETS

Sunday May 22nd - v Marldon CC (2pm Marldon Cricket Club) - Once again there were some parties that say this game ended in a tie...! It was a great afternoon whichever way you look at it - Marldon might just have sneaked a 1 wicket victory, but we must say a big thank you to Mr and Mrs Dodwell for helping us raise £50 for our charity of the year by waiving the tea fees. And well done to Corrinas Dad who took 6-22 MARLDON WON BY ONE WICKET

Sunday June 5th - v Kingskerswell CC (2pm Kingskerswell Cricket Club) - Once again this was another fantastic afternoon of cricket and money raising for charity. This one is always the fixture we look forward to the most as we always raise lots of money, thanks to the efforts of the Kingskerswell crew, and we always win! This year was no exception as we scored 179 (J Hunt 77, B Moseby 23, A Birt 21) and restricted Kingskerswell to 173 for 9 (2 wickets for Rich Lloyd and 2 for Aron Owen). The Palm Predators also won in their junior game. A fantastic £1700 was also raised for charity! PALM WON BY 6 RUNS

Friday July 15th - v Devon Disability XI (6pm Paignton Cricket Club) - A fantastic game was had by all at Paignton CC. A hotly contested match saw the Palm team come away with a 9 wicket win. Particular mention must go to Josh Hunt who scored an unbeaten 50. Well done everyone!  PALM WON BY 9 WICKETS

Sunday July 31st - v Dartmouth XI (2pm Dartmouth Cricket Club) - The less said about this game the better! Well done to Dartmouth CC who thrashed the Palm team who couldnt get to grips with the very special ball the Dartmouth boys use. Well done to Alex Birt who top scored for Palm and Jamie Smith who took 2 wickets. DARTMOUTH WON BY 180 RUNS

Monday August 29th - v Brixham Wobblers (2pm Brixham Cricket Club) - A fantastic win for Palm  - avenging their defeat earlier in the season. Palm scored 218-2 off their 30 overs (Birt 100*, P Hunt 53*, B Moseby 23) and managed to bowl out the wobblers for just 78. Massive congratulations to Palm's Alex Birt who scored his first ever century! PALM WON BY 140 RUNS

Wednesday August 31st v Torquay XI (130pm Torquay Cricket Club ) The final game of the season saw Palm's toughest test to date against a Torquay XI. Thanks to a few phoncalls being made, Palm also managed to put out a very strong side. Well done to Andy Fairbairn (82*) Sam Wyatt Haines and Aron Owen who helped the Palm team up to 242 off 35 overs. In reply Torquay managed 210. A great win for Palm and another successful season.
